Ari Bhöd’s art and architecture projects are guided by some of the world’s greatest living Tibetan artists. Our projects include exquisitely detailed and highly symbolic two- and three-dimensional Mandalas as well as traditional Tibetan woodworking and painting. In addition to preserving key bodies of knowledge through the preservation of Mandalas, we also commission, to our exact specifications, elaborate bronze statues and other metalwork items from artists working within the tradition in foundries in Nepal.
Participants in our preservation projects gain the direct experience of creating art forms within the practice of compassion, the historical motivation which fuels the creation of all traditional Tibetan works of art.
